JET ski cops have been on patrol along the Barwon Estuary at Ocean Grove.
The water patrol is part of a joint Victorian Police, Barwon Coast and Park Victoria initiative to encourage responsible boating
That includes ensuring river users are aware of a 5-knot speed limit in the Barwon Estuary.
